Crokinole is a disk-flicking dexterity board game, of Canadian origin, Players take turns shooting discs across the circular playing surface, trying to land their discs in the higher-scoring regions of the board, particularly the recessed centre hole of 20 points, while also attempting to knock opposing discs off the board, and into the ‘ditch’.
Run by the good people at Crokinole UK this will a two tiered tournament running solely on the Saturday. In the morning members of the public will be able to participate in the game and try their hand out. In the afternoon those that wish along with a limited number of registered players will compete, through a likely round robin then knock out system, to become the winner- the best registered player and the best member of the public shall receive a traditional Lasercraft WARren trophy.
It is anticipated that the tournament will start around 1:30pm -14:00pm and an introduction to how to play is here.

A ticket for the public will be available for the competition on the day priced £10 – trying out in the morning is free and is part of participation through Event entry ticket.
