Bolt Action is a World War II Wargame from Warlord Games – From Blitzkrieg to North Africa, from the Russian Front to the D-Day Landings, Bolt Action puts YOU in command of the most brutal and famous battles of the Second World War. Assemble and paint your brave men and armoured tanks, field them on a table-top battlefield, and use all your strategy, cunning and luck to defeat your opponent.
This will be a 2 day tournament with 5 games across the weekend. armies are to 1,000pts and there is a 14 order dice cap and forces may be built from up to two reinforced infantry platoons – no armoured platoons are allowed. For this event we’d like to encourage players to choose a 1,000pts themed army when assembling their forces, representing a specific period or battle, such as a reinforced platoon from Johnny Frost’s battalion at Arnhem, or maybe the 21st Panzer Division in North Africa – but if all you want is a force that looks right for the time and place for your chosen nation, that’s fantastic too!
