Saga is a skirmish game taking place in the heroic ages, whether they are historical, mythological, or sprung from the minds of writers. It brings to life the battles between exceptional warriors – Warlords, who defy their enemies on the battlefield at the head of their warband.
This year we are delighted to welcome back an old friend – a Saga Iron Man Event.
Running on the Sunday only this will be a three game event using Warbands from Age of Crusades and Age of Alexander.
So if you fancy a really enjoyable tournament what about a SAGA Iron Man? For these events, all you need do is turn up – the organiser, the ever amiable Demo Guy Rich, will provide everything you need including figure, dice, rulers etc. The format is that you play three games, each with a different Warband, each against a different opponent. There will be some prizes allocated as Demo Guy’s whim dictates but the events are more about learning the ropes and having fun. Demo Guy is excellent at explaining the rules and offering advice to all levels of players.
You can even link up with Rich on the Saturday where he will be demoing Saga in conjunction with Gripping Beast.
