Travel Summary
Over the course of the weekend, to make managing traffic flow easier. We have agreed with the venue that all traffic will enter the site via Gate A, postcode GU14 6XE or What 3 Words – ///oldest.scans.dozed.
If travelling from the M3 – Access is limited by security bollards through Fowler Avenue and it is advised that all traffic enters the site by turning off of the A325 onto the A327 and taking the first exit off of the roundabout onto Pinehurst Road, taking the first exit at the next roundabout onto Fowler Avenue, and then turning right onto Trenchard Way.
If travelling from the A331, it is advised to exit the A331 to follow Lynchford Road, to go straight over the two sets of roundabouts, onto Government House Road, and then turn right onto Queen’s Gate Road, second exit at the roundabout onto Trenchard Way, and follow the signs for Gate A.
Traffic will then all leave by Gate A on each of the days.
Car parking on site is free all weekend.
For pedestrian access and taxis then you should use Gate B that is directly in front of the atrium entrance.

Warfare 2025 Show Sponsors:

The Wargames Association of Reading would like to thank our sponsors:

KR Multicase

Due to unforeseen circumstances KR will be unable to attend Warfare 2025. This is the first time in what feels like forever we won’t be joined by KR but we are excited about them returning for 2026!

KR Multicase are a company dedicated to miniature figures and innovative storage solutions. KR carry out all design and testing in-house for our cases trays and accessories, and manufacture and sell only their own products. Their UK factory is set up to serve worldwide customers at minimum cost. KR provides the most versatile, cost effective and highest capacity miniature wargaming transport and storage system on the market.

Forged in Battle/Westwind

Established in 2007 Forged in Battle (FiB) grew steadily, becoming a major supplier of 15mm WWII tanks and miniatures.

In 2014 we took FiB to Kickstarter, the crowd funding website. This is where we experienced a massive explosion in the growth of the company. Our War & Empire range grew from six armies, to over twenty. Throughout the course of a year we designed, sculpted, moulded and manufactured over half a million miniatures!

Slitherine Software

Slitherine supports Warfare once again for the 2025 edition!

Everyone attending Warfare 2025 on Saturday or Sunday will receive a special coupon worth £20, redeemable on the Slitherine website for any video game from our catalogue.

Slitherine offers wargames of every kind: from real-time strategy titles such as Starship Troopers: Terran Command and Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance, inspired by their iconic sci-fi movies, to Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector, set in Games Workshop’s legendary universe.

But that’s not all — Slitherine also publish a huge range of historical wargames, from Field of Glory II, featuring over 300 historical armies from the Classical and Medieval eras, to Panzer Corps 2, which lets you relive the major battles and campaigns of World War II, all the way up to our 2025 blockbuster release, Broken Arrowset in a fictional modern conflict between USA and Russia. Thanks to the coupon that every visitor will receive at Warfare, you’ll be able to purchase these games — or any of the 100+ titles from Slitherine — with a £20 discount!

Warfare 2025 Show Charity:

At Warfare we continue to support different charitable organisations, with this year our chosen charity being Swings & Smiles.

Swings & Smiles offers play sessions for children with special needs and their whole family at our centre in Thatcham. We have specialist play resources to enable children with a wide range of disabilities to play with siblings and other family members in a secure and safe environment. Not everyone can make it to our centre in Thatcham and we want to make sure that Swings & Smiles is able to meet the needs of as many children, young people and families as possible.
Through our Outreach service we can travel to existing groups, schools and other community settings to deliver a range of sensory based play at a time and place that suits you. Outreach can also make visits to individuals in the home or at another appropriate setting.
